A few words about us

Konger is one of the fastest growing european fishing tackle companies. We are a family business with long fishing traditions in spinning, match and sea fishing.

Our staff is a competent team, for which number one priority is customer service and satisfaction. Experience and precision of our service staff results in quick and effective warranty and after-warranty service and support.

Almost all Konger employees are passionate anglers, the tackle and lures are tested by us in natural conditions; owing to this, the Konger tackle quality is always on the highest level. Our rods have won much more competitions than we - and we are very proud of it.

25 years of fishing or the history of Konger

The company was founded in 1983. From the beggining there was one goal that we had - to provide anglers with the highest quality fishing tackle possible, together with full service and support.

Taking into consideration our customers` needs we started with the production of spinning lures with Konger Spinning Expert brand, which was then step by step broadened with other tackle. Konger lures were a big success both in Poland and abroad. Double prize of "Złota Łuska" on the national fair in 1997 (Natural series) and 1999 (Holographic series) say everything by themselves.

Nowadays, Konger delivers fishing tackle not only in Poland, but to USA, German, Holland, Sweden and even such exotic countries as Chile and Mauritius.

Spinning Expert^TM

Konger Champion and Konger World Champion rods have become a synonym for professional spinning tackle in Poland. More than 50% of competitive teams were using the Konger Champion Tango and the Konger Champion Mikros spinning rods at many championships during the last two years. We can reveal the fact that they are widely used by increasing number of spinning competition teams - and not only from Poland. That is the result of a hard work of engineers and rod designers from Poland and Japan, thanks to whom the quality and parameters of our spinning rods are so outstanding.

And finally, what is Konger?

Konger (Conger) is a sea eel (Conger conger, Conger oceanicus), the biggest landed specimen was of 160kg, the world record with fishing rod is of 60kg. Protected size, according to MAFF, is 91cm from the shore, 120cm from the boat. It occures in all oceans and is more often found near wrecks, reefs and generally rough sea bottom.
